Time is flying it is already more than half ways through the first semester of my senior year. I really have enjoyed my classes this semester. In the beginning I did not know how I was going to feel about my classes and my learning facilitators. Now that I have gotten to know them more they are great teachers. The semester is coming close to an end and it is now starting to hit me that I am a senior which means the days are coming closer to graduation.
I am passing six out of seven of my classes which is a bittersweet feeling. The class that I am a little behind in is physics, that class is difficult for me because I do not understand all the time what is going on. In the beginning I thought psychology was going to be the class I was going to be behind in because it is challenging. The first quizzes and EOT I did horrible which made me worried because I thought that I would not be able to pass that class. Now I do not have that worry anymore because I am passing. Although that class does not get easy I learned that in order to pass the EOT you need to find time to study. The other classes I’m taking I do not have problems with them since I’m doing fine in them.
Signing up to do the early completion for the exit interview means that I need to be done with my whole senior website which I am somewhat close to finishing it. I just thought by doing the exit interview early would be better just to get it out of the way. It is not until January almost in two months and I already feel nervous about it.
I have submitted some college applications already. To CSU Fresno, Stanislaus, Northridge, and Bakersfield. Also I submitted some to UC Riverside, Santa Barbara, and Merced just because I qualify for the fee waiver and get them free. So why not use them even if I know I am not going to be attending a UC. I have not gotten back from Northridge I am still waiting for them to email me my ID number. However I already got admitted to Fresno, Stanislaus, and Bakersfield it is an awesome feeling getting into the colleges. Just because you know you have somewhere to go after high school. By the end of the semester my goal is to complete at least ten scholarships so I atleast end up getting one of those. That extra money is going to be helpful when I go to college.
Senior year is going great I have made tons of great memories especially during homecoming and bell week. I just want to make this last year very memoral. Also I have gotten closer to some people that I didn’t think I would. We now know the official date when we are going to go to grad night and I just can not wait because that is the trip that everyone looks forward to since their freshmen year.
