During Winter Break I didn’t really do much, but just basically laid down in my bed watching netflix. Just like about what almost every teenager would do. For christmas my family and I celebrated it at Palm Springs, CA. At my aunt's house with her kids. It was fun spending my christmas there especially since I enjoy shopping. There is an outlet close by that I really like it’s really big and glamorous. It’s a must to stop by each time we go to Palm Springs.
Coming back from winter break I realized that I wasn’t that productive. Which I regret because that was the time I was suppose to get most of my work completed. So when I come back from break I wouldn’t be stressed about it. This first semester was one of the most stressful semester I’ve had. The reason why is doing the college applications and EOP. While doing school work was hard, but glad it is over with. Anyways completing all my classes was an awesome feeling. I passed most of my classes with a 3.5. So going to push myself this semester to do the same or even better.
Seven semester down and one more to go. It is a bittersweet feeling that it is getting closer to graduation. I know that this semester I am going to be more focus in school. The reason why is I do not want to stress. The faster I complete my work the better. So at the end of the school year I can just focus on college things rather than stressing over high school work. This semester I am going to be taking economics. Last semester I took government and I passed it with a 3.5. I’m somewhat scared to take economics because the previous learners that took it said it is a lot of work. So I am not excited to do all that work. I have my senior exit interview January 28. I’m a bit nervous for it because I never presented in front of older people. Good thing I am getting it over with it so that would be one less thing to worry about.
The four CSU that I applied to were Fresno, Stanislaus, Bakersfield, and Northridge. I did get accepted to all of them. Which is a good feeling. However my top three choices are CSU Fresno,Stanislaus, and Northridge. The reason why is Fresno is close to home and so is Stanislaus, but Northridge has a nice campus and their sociology program is really good. Right now I am still undecided of where I am going to be attending in the fall.
